Today marks Wonder Woman’s 75th anniversary, and to celebrate, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder has shared a new look at Gal Gadot in Justice League.

It doesn’t reveal much, but does offer up an awesome shot of the Amazonian warrior.

It was also today that Wonder Woman was an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls by the United Nations. Gadot, Lynda Carter, and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins were among those in attendance, and the plan now is for the character to help promote the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goal #5, which focuses on gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls as a critical component of a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. A special comic book will be released next year further promoting this.

DC Comics and Warner Bros. will develop special messaging supporting the U.N.’s initiative across a variety of studio platforms, channels and activities, including their “DC Super Hero Girls” graphic novels, television movie and toys. This is a great way to promote next year’s Wonder Woman, and obviously also gets a very positive and important message out there.

Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis. It’s set to be released June 2nd, 2017.
