Seeing the first official production images to come out of the New Zealand set of The Hobbit had a far greater effect on me than I anticipated.
With the tortuous pre-production process over and Peter Jackson back in the director’s chair the pictures of a Baggins back in Bag End reminded me of the sheer enjoyment of the epic Lord of the Rings film, and getting back on the hype wagon for another Jackson Tolkien adaptation is sure to be a lot of fun.
Empire magazine have two new pictures from the films on their August cover and they are sticking to the two most prominent characters of the saga and Martin Freeman looks right at home as Bilbo Baggins. I can’t wait to see the rest of the cast in character, there are some very interesting names on board for these two films.
