We’ve seen some seriously impressive images from Ridley Scott’s new movie, Prometheus over the last week or two (and the amazing trailers for it) and this morning, Empire have debuted their latest cover which features a rather dull image of Noomi Rapace who plays Elizabeth Shaw in the new summer blockbusting movie. I guess it did have to be a character shot but after chatting with Jon about this as I was writing this post up, neither of us are hugely impressed.

Prometheus is right up there with movies that we cannot wait to see this year. Cast includes Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Kate Dickie, Sean Harris, Rafe Spall, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson and it’ll be with us June 1st. If you missed our interview with Fassbender over the weekend at the Empire awards, have a little watch here.

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
