Naomi Watts (Fair Game) is reportedly in early negotiations to star in Now Is Good, an adaptation of Jenny Downham’s novel Before I Die.
If cast, Watts would join Dakota Fanning (The Runaways) who is already attached to the production.
Now Is Good centers on Tessa, a teenager dying from leukemia who drafts a list of things to do before she dies (the top choice being sex), while dealing with the relationships with various family members in the lead up to her death.
Ol Parker (Imagine Me & You) will direct.
