Prime Video has released a new trailer for the upcoming TV series reimagining of 2005 action comedy film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith.’
Two lonely strangers land a job working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travels and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. The catch: new identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. & Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now hitched, John and Jane navigate a high-risk mission every week while facing a new relationship milestone. Their complex cover story becomes even more complicated when they catch real feelings for each other. What’s riskier, espionage or marriage?
Donald Glover and Maya Erskine take the leads while Parker Posey, Wagner Moura, Michaela Coel, John Turturro, and Paul Dano co-star. Ron Perlman, Sarah Paulson, Eiza González, Billy Campbell and Alexander Skarsgard guest star.
The series comes from co-creators and executive producers Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane. Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer also executive produce.
