Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon

You only need to watch a few minutes of Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon to know it’s a film made by Ana Lily Amirpour. Her distinctive style lends itself to her ensemble, and to mark the US release of the film, we had the pleasure in speaking to not only the filmmaker herself, but a couple of the stars that signed on to tell the story. Below you can watch our video interviews, in their entirety, with Amirpour with Kate Hudson, as they talk about their experience shooting together in New Orleans, while we also chatted to British actor Ed Skrein, as he tells us about the musicality to the filmmaker’s style, and talks about his recent Netflix hit I Used to be Famous, and the joy in bringing such a positive story to the world.
