Dutch actor Michiel Huisman takes a starring role in The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society, and to mark the release of the film we sat down with the man himself.

We began by discussing Lily James, and what a pleasure she was to collaborate with on this project. It wasn’t just her too, as Huisman also explains how imperative it is to work opposite actors such as Tom Courtenay and Penelope Wilton, and how he’s always learning while on set.

He also discusses whether he’s ever tried a potato peel pie, whether he’s ever been to Guernsey, and finally we end with a brief chat about Game of Thrones, and what an incredible experience it has been for all those involved as it approaches its very final season.
