It has been revealed that Gal Gadot is in early talks to take on a role in Fox 2000’s Keeping Up With The Joneses, an upcoming movie from director Greg Mottola and writer Michael LeSieur. It’s expected to start shooting this April, and Gadot joins a cast that so far includes Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher and Jon Hamm.

As interesting as that may be, the same site also reports that the Wonder Woman solo movie will begin production in the fall. This is the first time we’ve heard about a start date for the Amazonian warrior’s first big screen outing. Gadot will debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year.

Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead) is directing Wonder Woman, while the current iteration of the screenplay was written by Pan scribe Jason Fuchs (Ice Age: Continental Drift).

The Fast & Furious star will next be seen in Criminal in August and then in September in Triple Nine.

According to numerous reports, the first Wonder Woman movie will take place in the 1920s, and then the sequels will jump ahead to World War II and the present day. It’s an ambitious and interesting plan! Wonder Woman is set to be released on June 23rd, 2017, with Justice League Part One set for November 10th, 2017.
