Talking about his time spent on set, the Man of Steel star revealed a humorous instance in which the prosthetics he’ll be wearing in the movie left him trapped in a portable toilet.
“I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands. So I had these wax flippers on my fingers, and I couldn’t open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder, the director] being like, ‘Where’s Shannon? Where the f**k is he?’ and the whole crew was standing around. I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, ‘Let me out of here!’” Wait a second, did he say that Zod now has flippers?!
Perhaps instead of Doomsday, we’ll just be getting a horribly mutated Zod of some sort?
It’s hard to say at this point (those “flippers” could be CGI appendages in order for something a little more monstrous to be put in their later on, especially if this is a motion capture role), but Shannon’s Batman v Superman role is clearly going to be much different than expected. Superman breaking Zod’s neck was a controversial moment among fans, so perhaps Zack Snyder has found a way to undo that by bringing him back from the dead!
