It was only announced 3 days ago that Mel Gibson would be cameoing in The Hangover 2 but now news is buzzing around the Internet that Braveheart himself has been dropped from the project.
I’m struggling to find out where the source of this information is but TMZ, The Wrap and Deadline are all reporting that Gibson has been dropped and usually when they all say something is happening, it turns out to have some truth.
Deadline bring is this quote from director, Todd Phillips:
“I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of Jeff Robinov and his team. But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew,”
Other places seem to think that the ‘no support’ could be pointed towards Zach Galifianakis who recently expressed his annoyance on a podcast.
