For many of us, the thought of working with our other half seems a little overbearing. Seeing them at weekends and evenings, that’ll do just fine. But 24/7? Working long hours during the day and then raising children together at night – that’s hard work. But not for Max Handelman – producer of the eagerly anticipated Pitch Perfect sequel, and the husband of the actress, and film’s director Elizabeth Banks.
We spoke to Handelman about combining his work life with his home life, and the benefits and joy that come with collaborating with somebody he feels so so close to. He also speaks about the new film and what fans of the first can expect – and whether we may be on course to see a third entry into popular franchise…
