Marvel have just released the first teaser trailer for their movie tie-in game for The Avengers. It’s called Marvel: Avengers Alliance and it’s going to be built within Facebook. You can already sign up to the page by clicking here and ‘liking’ the page.

Players are recruited as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. to assemble and lead teams of superheroes with a mission to keep New York City safe from the clutches of Marvel supervillains. Train your team to unlock unique abilities and attacks, and customise each character’s stats. Face-off against friends in super-powered asynchronous player versus player battles using your Facebook stats.
The Avengers movie is set for release in the UK 27th April, is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jenny Agutter, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany and Robert Downey Jr.
