Sony Pictures are keen to make The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as big a success as possible, and their intensive marketing campaign has now stretched to three very spoilery clips from the upcoming sequel. Narrated by Stan Lee, they’re made up of almost entirely never before seen footage, but what they tell us arguably results in even more questions!

The clips (which were released thanks to a new Kellogg’s app promoting the movie), we not only get to see plenty of great shots of Spider-Man in action, but also learn the fate of Norman Osborn, the reason for his son Harry’s return, what exactly Aleksei Sytsevich is trying to steal, and even hear Jamie Foxx name himself “Electro”.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper and Paul Giamatti, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.
