It’s all moving along nicely on the fifth instalment of ‘Indiana Jones’ no sooner as it’s announced that Phoebe Waller-Bridge has joined the cast than we get another casting announcement of Mads Mikkelsen.
Details of Mikkelsen’s character are under wraps but he will join Waller-Bridge, who is said to be playing the female lead opposite Harrison Ford, who is returning to the role of the legendary hero archaeologist.
In addition, the inimitable John Williams will return to score the film, continuing a musical journey that began 40 years ago with ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’.

James Mangold takes over the directorial reins from Steven Spielberg who will serve as a producer as well as lending his knowledge filled experience in many other aspects of the production.
Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel will also serve as producers.
Indy swings into theatres on July 29, 2022.
