To coincide with the release of Echo 3, the new thriller series from Apple TV+, we sat down with some of the stars to find out more.

Echo 3 is an action-packed thriller set in South America that follows Amber Chesborough (Jessica Ann Collins), a brilliant young scientist who is the emotional heart of a small American family. When Amber goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother, Bambi (Luke Evans), and her husband, Prince (Michiel Huisman) – two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts – struggle to find her in a layered personal drama, set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war. “Echo 3” also stars Martina Gusman as “Violetta,” a prominent political columnist.

Speaking with the ensemble of Evans, Collins, and Huisman, we chat about the draw of the show – including showrunner Mark Boal -, the lure of working on television and long-form series and what challenges and rewards they can offer, the competitive nature of streaming and what audiences can expect from the series.
