Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion is moving towards the end of its international shooting schedule, with an almost absurdly deep and rich cast (Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Marion Cotillard, Elliot Gould, Kate Winslet, Laurence Fishburne) now shooting the final leg of the production in San Francisco.
Of course, any film about a lethal air-borne virus is likely to cut a swathe through such a cast, so perhaps some of them have concluded their shooting schedules with suitably dramatic death scenes? Surely they can’t all make it to the final curtain?
Anyhoo, we now have a fantastic looking set of on-set stills showing clothes, personal effects and rubbish piled up, pictures of (presumably) missing loved ones on notice boards and Jude Law safely(?) sealed in a bio-suit.
