Prime Video & Birra Moretti have debuted the trailer for a new three-part travel series ‘Live Italian.’

Commissioned by Birra Moretti, the upcoming three-part series will see Jack Whitehall, Maya Jama and Lawrence Dallaglio document their respective journeys across Italy as they take time out of their hectic lives to discover what it truly means to slow down, enjoy life’s simple pleasures and really ‘Live Italian’.

Each 45-minute episode will see one of the celebs paired up with an Italian expert that will introduce them to the very best food, music and sport the beautiful Mediterranean country has to offer. Along the way Jack, Maya and Lawrence will come across some pleasant and hilarious surprises as they meet a range of memorable Italian characters who help shape their travels.

The first episode sees Jack Whitehall paired up with Italian TV presenter, blogger, and Italian gastronomical expert Chiara Maci as they set out on a culinary tour across the region of Tuscany – home of the Italian Renaissance and the birthplace of the Italian language. Along the way, Jack teams up with the world’s best Gelato maker attempting to milk a cow to create his own gelato, learns how to make pasta dough from a gaggle of naughty nonnas and tantalises his tastebuds with some local delicacies, before rounding off his Italian food immersion by cooking a Tuscan feast for all the friends he meets along the way.

In the second episode, Maya Jama is partnered with Italian singer, actress, and presenter Lodovica Comello as they hit the streets of Milan and Cremona to explore the role music plays in Italian culture. The episode follows an ambitious Maya as she seeks to turn her hand to violin crafting and attempts to train as a soprano before dropping Italo Disco beats to a crowd of excited Milanese.

For the series’ final instalment, Lawrence Dallaglio meets his match in former Italian rugby player Martin Castrogiovanni. The episode sees the two legends go head-to-head in traditional Italian sporting challenges including but not limited to an APE race where Lawrence has much more to lose than his pride.
