Liam Neeson has been set to star in director Neil Jordan’s (The Crying Game, Marlowe, Interview with a Vampire) upcoming thriller ‘The Riker’s Ghost.’

The film follows a convict set for release (Neeson) who is forced to break a terrorist out of prison when his lawyer is kidnapped, as he is the only one who knows a way out.

“This is a unique take on the prison escape,” said Jordan. A bare-knuckle ride from incarceration to freedom, by someone who just wants to finish his term. The reluctant escapee will be played by Liam Neeson, and I can’t wait to explore this character with him.”
