One of our highlights of the recent London Film Festival was Steve’s McQueen’s Shame and there’s a new trailer out in the wild today and it’s a beauty.

I loved the film when I saw it last month and the MPAA’s NC-17 rating isn’t surprsing but it is a damn shame as it is the raw emotional turmoil of the film which makes the biggest impression and is far more explicit than all the banging. Oh well. It’s quality will ensure that it will do well and it’s an incredubly impressive piece of work.

This new trailer could well be my favourite piece of marketing this year not to include Muppets and makes me want to watch the film again right now. Good work Trailer people. Here in the UK we have to wait until the 13th of January next year. Shame.

Brandon (Fassbender) is a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life. After his wayward younger sister (Mulligan) moves into his apartment, Brandon’s world spirals out of control.

The aptly named Coming Soon gave this to the world, all the way from the big Apple.
