To celebrate the release of the third season of Miss Scarlett and the Duke, which returns to Alibi this week, we sat down once more with the delightful stars of the show to find out about the new series.
The third series of Miss Scarlet and the Duke will continue to follow Kate Phillips (Peaky Blinders, The Crown) as the fearless female detective Eliza Scarlet, and Stuart Martin (Army of Thieves, Jamestown) as her childhood friend and will-they-won’t-they love interest, Inspector William ‘The Duke’ Wellington.
Speaking to Phillips and Martin – the third time we have had the pleasure since the show started – we chat about the success of the show and its ever-expanding audience and fans, the challenges of keeping the show fresh and innovative going into the third season, their favourite moments, the excitement of finding out where the characters are heading and, WhatsApp groups, and, of course, romance and the “will they/won’t they” as Scarlett and the Duke are drawn ever closer. Oh, and Tom Cruise, surprisingly.
