Karen Gillan (Doctor Who), Martin Compston (The Disappearance of Alice Creed) and Emun Elliott (Black Death) have signed on to star in indie comedy Not Another Happy Ending.
Written by David Solomoms, Not Another Happy Ending center on an eccentric author (Gillan) suffering from writer’s block after she finds success with a best-selling novel.
John McKay (Crush) is attached to direct.
Not Another Happy Ending will be financed by Synchronicity Films, with production expected to start later this year.
