With the understandable confusion over the narrative placement of the forthcoming Jumanji movie behind us (it’ll be a continuation, not a reboot) one of the stars of the new film has shared a photo of the cast from the first day of shooting.
Kevin Hart posted the following picture on Instagram and it gives us a good look at Karen Gillan as Martha, Hart himself, Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black way down deep in the middle of the jungle.
The news that Karen Gillan had recently joined the cast was greeted with great enthusiasm, we’re just hoping that she gets to wear a little more in the finished film. Not much to ask, eh?
As you can see filming is underway and there’s a cartoonish feel to the whole enterprise, and with The Rock’s endearing charm to power it, Jumanji 2 or however it’ll be called will be one to watch.
