We’ve already had new trailers for The Great Wall and Power Rangers thanks to this year’s New York Comic-Con, but the one we’ve all been looking forward to is finally here! After a variety of teasers, Warner Bros. has finally released our first look at John Wick: Chapter Two, and it’s fair to say that it definitely looks like a worthy successor to the first instalment.

If anything, the action looks even more stylish and violent than the last movie, and considering how great that one was, this could very well be one of 2017’s best releases.

“In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild,” the synopsis teases. “Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.”

Written by Derek Solstad and directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter Two boasts an impressive cast which includes Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, Franco Nero, with John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane. The movie is currently set to be released in the UK on February 17th, next year.
