Lionsgate has confirmed that both the fourth and fifth instalments of the ‘John Wick’ franchise are a go.
The 2 sequels are being planned to film back to back with filming due to commence in 2021.
Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer said, “We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two instalments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.”
Keanu Reeves will return to the titular character.

The fourth film is due to be released on May 27th, 2022.
Reeves will next be seen in ‘Bill and Ted Face The Music’, he is currently filming ‘Matrix 4’ for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow in Berlin, Germany.
