While John Cena has recently been killing it in the less than child-friendly world of ‘Peacemaker’, the wrestler turned actor has signed up for the live-action animation hybrid ‘Coyote Vs Acme.’
The feature from Warner Bros. is centred on the classic Looney Tunes character Wile E. Coyote. It will tell the story of a down-on-his-luck (human) attorney who takes on Wile E. as a client in his suit against Acme over its defective products, only to discover that his boss at his former law firm is representing Acme.
Cena will play the former boss in the feature, which seems like part courtroom drama, part family comedy.

Cena’s bromance with James Gunn goes from strength to strength as the pair will reunite on the feature with Gunn taking on a producer’s role. Chris DeFaria is also producing. Dave Green will take the helm.
Production is due to begin in late March in New Mexico.
