Jodie Comer has signed up to take on the leading role on the currently in-development drama series from Adam McKay, ‘Big Swiss.’

Based on Jen Beagin’s upcoming book of the same name, Comer will star in the role of Flavia aka “Big Swiss”: “After starting a new life anonymously transcribing sex therapy sessions in Hudson, N.Y., a woman becomes fixated with one of the patients, leading to an obsessive, explosive relationship between the two.”

The project will be produced by A24 and McKay’s Hyperobject Industries, HBO won a bidding war between 14 other bidders.

Comer has been the co-lead on the critically acclaimed show ‘Killing Eve’ alongside Sandra Oh since its first season. The series is currently on its fourth and final season. Comer won a leading actor Emmy for her role as Villanelle on the show in 2019 and she and Oh have both been nominated for their starring parts on the drama twice.
