Craig has been keeping us up to date over the weekend nicely with the reports that Marvel have dropped Edward Norton as The Hulk in their upcoming movie, The Avengers. The idea from Marvel was that they bring out all these different movies like Thor, Iron Man, The Hulk etc and then make one mega movie with all the characters involved (which is based on the comic book, The Avengers which did just that) – you’ll notice this in Iron Man where Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) is collecting them all together to create an army of super heroes.

Over the weekend, Edward Norton has been dropped as The Hulk for seemingly stupid reasons and now his agent is having a go at Marvel. The next part of the story that CHUD are reporting is that Joaquin Phoenix has been offered the role and is in talks to play The Hulk already!

They say:

Reliable sources tell me that Marvel has already put out an offer, and the actor they’ve spoken to is Joaquin Phoenix, believe it or not. Phoenix is taking time to mull over the offer and the bigger implications – Marvel may yet resurrect the Hulk franchise – but Marvel hopes to have him in place by Comic Con, which is when they want to announce their new Bruce Banner.

More info as we get it but in my opinion, the whole thing is ridiculous – we want Norton!

Head over to CHUD for more info and tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
