Jim Rash and Nat Faxon, will still be best known to some viewers as stars of the small screen, for their extremely funny turns on Community and Ben and Kate respectively, but last year they became Oscar winners for writing The Descendants. This week marks their return to the big screen with The Way Way Back, a coming of age movie that they wrote, directed, and also sees them on screen in a couple of very funny supporting roles. We caught up with the pair to ask them about their directorial debut, how their career has been affected by their Ocar win, and what we might see from them next.
The Way, Way Back is released in UK cinemas today.
