Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor ended up being a very divisive character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with some fans loving what the actor brought to the role and others not too keen on what they perceived to be a somewhat unfaithful take on the villain.

We’ve known for a while that Luthor will likely show up in August’s Suicide Squad, but regardless of whether you loved or hated him, Lex is going to be back in Justice League too.

“I’m kind of in wait,” the actor revealed during an appearance at the MCM London Comic Con. “They just started filming Justice League, so I’m kind of like waiting for my crack at it. I don’t know what I’m allowed to say, because I feel like there’s probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody who’s in it. You know, it’s a really talented group of people.”

It makes sense that Lex will return, especially as he seems to have some inside knowledge about whatever alien threat is on its way to Earth. That’s something many are expecting to be expanded on in the upcoming extended cut, but with the villain currently behind bars after orchestrating the death of Superman, it will be fun to see how he factors into Justice League.
