It’s always the way. I’m literally about to call it a night (especially since it’s now 2am!) and I see my favourite producer, put out a tweet from the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The cast are all currently filming at Pinewood Studios in the UK and they’re obviously doing lots of night shoots at the moment as all the tweets are coming in the middle of the night and for some reason, I’m still awake!
Anyway, the tweet Jerry has just sent goes like this:
Camera operator Martin Schaer in modern clothes sticks out from background players in 18th century costumes.
The image isn’t quite as nice as the one yesterday but is more humorous with Martin stood there in amongst the extras in the scene. This is another reason I love twitter!
The fourth installment of Disney / Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean stars Johnny Depp, Ian McShane, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released May 2011, and is directed by Rob Marshall.
