Jennifer Lopez has been set to star in the Netflix adaptation of ‘The Last Mrs. Parrish’ from Robert Zemeckis.

The psychological thriller centres on a twisted con-artist who targets a wealthy couple – the Parrishes – as her next victims. She infiltrates the pair by befriending the wife and seducing the husband, with the master plan of becoming the next Mrs. Parrish, only to discover that the wife’s life is far more complicated than she could have imagined.

Andrea Berloff (The Mother) and John Gatins (Flight) have penned the screenplay. Producers on the project are Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, Molly Sims for Something Happy Productions, and Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina for Nuyorican Productions. Executive producers are Margaret Chernin for 3dot Productions, alongside Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine, Jack Rapke and Derek Hogue.

Lopez most recently starred in the sports drama ‘Unstoppable’ and will appear next in director Bill Condon’s ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ musical remake.
