Yes, it’s me here again with another LEGO post but I don’t care, I love it!! You may remember Tris Spencer who brought us the E.T. LEGO set last year, if not click this handy link and it’ll fill you in! Well Tris has been busy again with his next project and this time it’s another Steven Spielberg movie – JAWS.
Tris hopes that if this set becomes a reality, he can donate funds to the Shark Savers marine conservation fund.
Since the book & films release understanding the importance of marine conservation has become widely publicized and supported. However, the oceans are still losing vital species and habitats at an alarming rate. We have the power to change this.
Tris has submitted his idea to the Cuuusoo website again created three mini figures including Martin Brody, Matt Hooper, Quint alongside the shark which we’ll call Bruce and the barrels that were so famously dragged down to the depths in the Spielberg classic.
The set wouldn’t be complete without Quint’s ORCA, to create what Tris called, ‘JAWS – Orca’s Last Stand’.
For those unfamiliar, CUUSOO is a project for LEGO fans to design their own sets and if the set gets 10k votes of support, they have the chance for the set to be made officially by LEGO themselves.
Other creations that have caught our eye are the Jurassic Park set and obviously Back to the Future which is now a reality and was endorsed and approved by both LEGO and Universal Pictures.
