Iron Man 3 is just weeks away from hitting the big screen, and the anticipation couldn’t be higher.
The first film in Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe hits UK cinemas at the end of the month, before arriving in the US at the start of next month. All we’ve seen so far suggests it’s going to be one of the biggest films of the year.
The latest full-length trailer debuted early last month, and has since been followed by two more TV spots. And now Marvel have debuted another awesome thirty-second spot, revealed in the Marvel: Avengers Alliance game on Facebook.
Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Robert Downey, Jr. is front and centre once more, reprising his role as Tony Stark / Iron Man. And he’s joined by a brilliant cast, led by Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Wang Xueqi, Fan Bingbing, and Ben Kingsley, with Paul Bettany reprising his role as the voice of JARVIS
Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) has taken over the helm from Favreau, directing from a script he co-wrote with Drew Pearce (the upcoming Godzilla).
Iron Man 3 will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on 25th April here in the UK, with its US release date set for the usual date of May 3rd. Here’s the latest TV spot to get your anticipation running on high. Enjoy.
