A week after the International Poster was released into the wild we have two new pieces of the Iron Man 2 marketing puzzle to show you.

Momentum is building for Jon Favreau’s follow up to the surprise hit of of 2008 and the promise shown in the trailers for the sequel mean that all eyes will be on Tony Stark and his toys this April.

MySpace have unleashed a new US poster on the world and it’s a little too full of disembodied heads for my liking, but you can see it below. The only person missing (and who featured prominently on the International Poster – placed below for comparison) is Whiplash himself, Mickey Rourke.

Here’s the new US poster,

…and here’s the International one.

Personally I’d refer something a little more minimalist…

Also Jon Favreau himself tweeted a link to a viral website for the movie – Stark Expo 2010 which leads to a very fancy site which will no doubt act as a portal for various media and other lovely Iron Man 2 stuff. Check out the 1974 Stark Expo video – reminds me of the viral 80s style Watchmen news reports.

Only a month to go until we in the UK get to see the film on the 30th of April, the US get it a week later.
