Though his previous feature Battlefield was something of a disappointment – both critically, and financially – director Peter Berg returns with Lone Survivor, and it’s being met with far more favourable reviews, in what is an action packed, poignant drama about a group of brave Navy SEALs.
Sitting down with us to discuss his latest feature – which stars Mark Wahlberg and Ben Foster, amongst others – we speak about the innovative, lengthy battle sequence which takes up the vast majority of this production. Berg also tells us about his pressure in bringing this incredible true story to the big screen, and the newfound appreciation he has for those serving their country.
Lone Survivor is released on January 31st.
