I'm Still EthanWritten and produced by Phoebe Lorenz and Amelia O’Loughlin, I’m Still Ethan explores the impact of imprisonment upon detainees’ partners and children. Told through the eyes of one young boy called Ethan, it looks at how his life changes when one of his parents is put behind bars. It explores how Ethan comes to believe he too is underserving of freedom and safety as he starts to see himself through the eyes of his judgmental local community.

I'm Still EthanDave Johns says of the film, “This is such an important story for a significantly under-represented group of people, and I am glad I can play a part in telling it. It’s about time this issue is put on the map and film is a great way to do that as it’s so accessible and relatable. I’m looking forward to seeing how far this movement will go, and what the team’s commitment to the cause can achieve.”
