Over the past 6 years we’ve had the pleasure of attending press events at the now world famous Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London. The attraction has become one of the most-see locations for any Harry Potter fan and today we were treated to something very special.

It’s been two years since we last visited Leavesden which has now become one of the key locations for filming at Warner Bros. Many of the sets for Guy Ritchie’s next movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword were built there along with The Legend of Tarzan which came from Harry Potter Director and Producer David Yates and David Barron sitting next to the backlock are stages J & K (a coincidence amusingly) working in unison with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling’s name housing many of the sets used in the Harry Potter movies.

Two years ago it was the turn of Platform 9 3/4 to be unveiled to the world and today we were treated to the first look at The Forbidden Forest, one of the most iconic set-pieces in the Potter world. The scale of this latest set is staggering with 12 foot trees standing tall above you as you walk through spotting many different Potter favourites as you wander through. Keep your eyes peeled for Buckbeak but be sure to keep on alert as Aragog could pounce at any moment!

To celebrate this first look, Harry Potter cast-members Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Weasley twins James and Oliver Phelps (George and Fred) were in attendance and we had the pleasure of sitting down to chat with them. They were joined by Creature Effects Designer Nick Dudman who talked us through the process of making the likes of Aragog and realising what was written on the page and bringing them to life.

You may well find the end of our Jason Isaacs interview amusing as he remains extremely tight-lipped on his recent casting of Captain Lorca in Star Trek: Discovery, but we had to try right?!
