Who fancies a bit of Groundhog Dog with a thriller twist? Well, you’re getting whether you like it or not with the brand new trailer, stills and poster for the Blumhouse chiller, Happy Death Day.
The trailer depicts one girl’s repeating hell, from working up in a dorm only to repeat the same day over and over again, the catch, it’s her birthday and also her death day. At the end of each day, she is murdered by a masked stranger in one form or another and is stuck in the same old loop until she can unmask her killer. – We can’t help thinking the whole film has been told in the one trailer.
The film is directed and co-written by Paranormal Activity: The Marked One’s Christopher Landon, Scott Lobdell marks up the other half of the writing team. It also boasts a cast of Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken and Laura Clifton.
Happy Death Day is coming to cinemas October 20th 2017.
