Guy Ritchie is reportedly toying with the idea of directing a remake of the 1981 action-comedy The Cannonball Run.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, Badass Digest seems to think Ritchie wants George Clooney to play the role of J.J. McClure, the character Burt Reynolds played in the original.
The Cannonball Run centers on a wide variety of eccentric competitors who participate in a wild and illegal cross-country car race.
Although all this is pure speculation, its certainly a tantalising possibility.
Ritchie is currently in the middle of shooting Sherlock Holmes 2, which Warner Bros. will release on December 16.
