Peter Farrelly’s Green Book premiered at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival in Canada. Lord of the Rings’ Viggo Mortensen stars with Moonlight Oscar-Winner and new True Detective Season 3 regular Mahershala Ali alongside Linda Cardellini, Don Stark, and Sebastian Maniscalco.
The journey to get the story on the road is almost as fascinating as the film itself. We get to hear from the actors, director and producers (including the son of the real life driver) about how it was an oft-told family tale, perfect for the big screen treatment. It’s a pleasure to hear Ali and Mortensen talk about building their characters and going on the journey with them.
Green Book is released on the 21st of November, 2018 in the US and on the 8th of February, 2019 in the UK.
