Peter Farrelly’s Green Book premiered at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival in Canada. Lord of the Rings’ Viggo Mortensen stars with Moonlight Oscar-Winner and new True Detective Season 3 regular Mahershala Ali alongside Linda Cardellini, Don Stark, and Sebastian Maniscalco.
The film tells of the unlikely friendship between an African-American classical pianist and his working class driver on their tour across America during the 60s. The themes of acceptance and tolerance are the framework of the film, which is based on the real life stories as told by the driver’s son.
