Sony wanted to think of a way to launch their brand new Sony Bravia 3d TV’s and decided that the way to get it out there was to host a gaming competition along with their new game, Gran Turismo 5, get 10 of the best GT5 players along and get them to compete at the HMV Oxford Street. The event looks like an awful lot of fun and coincided with showing off the new TVs for sporting events that we can now watch without having to leave our sofa!
Our friends from Upbeat were in attendance and were able to follow the action as it unfolded with the likes of BBCÂ Formula 1 presenter, Jake Humphrey who commentated on the final and presented the away. The winner would be given a trip to Madrid along with a brand new 40″ Sony Bravia TV. I’ll let you have a look at the video below for the full lowdown.
