Good Luck to You, Leo Grande

Good Luck to You, Leo Grande is a fascinating new feature from the mind of Katy Brand, that is set across a series of meetings between a widowed mother of two, and a young, male escort. Relying heavily on its two central performances, of course from Emma Thompson that is a given, but it’s the impressive turn from newcomer Daryl McCormack which has really caught the eye, and to mark the release of the movie, we had the pleasure in speaking to the Irish performer, as well Brand, and the director, Sophie Hyde. Be sure to watch all three interviews in their entirety below, as we discuss the collaboration process with Thompson, while McCormack also speaks about his time on Peaky Blinders. Brand speaks about the exploration of themes seldom seen in cinema, and Hyde also talks about the films messages, that are leaving viewers inspired.
