While fans have already been teased with a number of Gears of War 3 revelations, Epic have revealed that the game is ‘not what you expect.’
Speaking ahead of a gameplay announcement at the Video Game Awards on December 11, the studio’s design director Cliff Bleszinski teased that while fans will love what they’re about to see, the announcement will be unpredictable.
“We’ll be showing off some new Gears of War gameplay. It’s gonna be awesome. You’re gonna love it. It’s not what you expected,” he tantalised.
It’s already been announced that Gears of War 3 will feature three playable female characters, a four-player co-op mode, new weapons (including a Pendulum War Era Lancer and Incendiary Grenade), and a fully controllable mech suit.
As for the surprising new reveal, that’s still anyone’s guess. FPS mode, maybe?
