For All Mankind

For All Mankind is one of those rare shows that seems to be getting better as it goes along, with each season reaching new enjoyably outlandish heights, as we delve deeper into the alternative timeline that makes for such appealing television. To mark the release of the fourth season, we had the pleasure in speaking to those tasked with taking us on that adventure, the writing/producing team of Ronald D. Moore, and Maril Davis.

The duo discuss their timeline, and the fun they have creating it, while also speaking about the challenges and joys of returning for a fourth season – whether there’s a swagger about the place, and they tell us just how much they listen to fan feedback. We also ask about Star Trek, because when talking to these two, you can’t not.

Synopsis

Rocketing into the new millennium in the eight years since Season 3, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. Now 2003, the focus of the space program has turned to the capture and mining of extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working towards.
