On Sunday, the first international trailer for Jack Reacher leaked online, and though the trailer came with English subtitles, it wasn’t quite what we were after.
Now the English-language trailer and promo poster have officially made their way online, in glorious HD, giving us our first proper look at Christopher McQuarrie’s adaptation of Lee Child’s One Shot, part of the Jack Reacher novel series.
“When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: “Get Jack Reacher!” So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep.”
Tom Cruise leads the way as the eponymous Jack Reacher, alongside Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Robert Duvall, and Werner Herzog.
Jack Reacher will be released on 21st December in the US, and will come slightly later to our shores for a 28th December release here in the UK – the same weekend that Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was released last year, and we all know how ridiculously well that did.
