Yesterday saw the release of some new concept art and stills from Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland, and after a brief presentation at the New York Comic-Con, Disney have released the first official teaser trailer too.

The Iron Giant and The Incredibles director Brad Bird made an impressive live-action debut with 2011’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and while fans were disappointed to learn that he wouldn’t be returning for the fifth instalment, the mysterious Tomorrowland has been intriguing us all for ages now.

In the movie, Frank (Clooney) and Casey (Britt Robertson) cross paths when the former finds a mysterious old-school lapel-style pin which gives her a vision of a futuristic utopian place called “Tomorrowland”.

We actually get our first proper look at that world in this trailer, and while we’re still mostly in the dark when it comes to specific plot details, at least now we know the movie is going to look visually amazing!

Also below is the first teaser poster for Tomorrowland sporting the official logo for the mysterious location.
