Mockingjay

The first stills (and a motion poster) for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 have been released, and they give us a first look at Julianne Moore as the biggest addition to the cast of the movie, President Coin (the President of District 13 and the leader of the rebellion against the Capitol).

Like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before it, the final instalment in The Hunger Games is being split into two parts for its big screen adaptation. How that will impact the story remains to be seen, and the decision has been a little controversial with fans of the books since Lionsgate revealed their plans.

Francis Lawrence returns to direct both parts of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, and below you’ll also find new stills featuring other cast members including the late Philip Seymour-Hoffman. There’s also an interview with Moore about her role as President Coin in the movie.
