Whiplash and La La Land filmmaker Damien Chazelle’s latest film, First Man, premiered at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival in Canada and we were on the red carpet to talk to the cast and crew about making this extraordinary film.

Telling the incredible true life story of Neil Armstrong and the Apollo Moon Landing the film stars Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Pablo Schreiber, Ciaran Hinds, Kyle Chandler, Lukas Haas, Corey Stoll and Shea Whigham. The film attracted controversy in the US when Republicans claimed the film was unpatriotic when they assumed there was no flag planting scene on the Moon.

First Man is released on the 12th of October, 2018. Dave Sztypuljak was on the red carpet, here’s how he got on.
