Here’s the first look at some artwork of Angel from X-Men: Apocalypse. Directed by Bryan Singer, the movie is coming 2016 and this is the first official look at the character played by former EastEnders star Ben Hardy.
Singer has been quoted as saying that this take on the character is “not a very nice Angel”, and those metallic looking wings appear to indicate that this version will be Archangel, a corrupted version of the character who serves as one of Apocalypse’ Four Horsemen in the comic books. It could be that he ends up joining the X-Men at the end of the movie, but the director hasn’t always followed the source material, so…
